30 Day Mindfulness Challenge Day 12

It’s hard to believe it’s been almost two weeks of my 30 Day Mindfulness Challenge.

I still think that the first week, doing guided meditations was easier for me.

Today I decided to try a breathing exercise that is good for when you have a hard time letting go of thoughts.

It’s similar to some of the others, but slightly different.

You’re going to count your breaths.

As you breathe in deeply, you count 1. When you exhale, that’s 2. You keep going until you hit 10, and then you start again.

It gives you something to do so that your mind doesn’t wander. If you keep doing this, and let thoughts go as they come, you should feel more relaxed when you stop.

I liked it because it made it easier to keep other thoughts at bay.
