30 Day Mindfulness Challenge Day 18

I think this week has been the most interesting so far out of my 30 Day Mindfulness Challenge, although there is still 1 more week to go.

It’s fun trying to do things you normally do every day on autopilot in a different way.

When the weather is nice (like today), I love to go for walks. So I thought the perfect thing to do was to try a mindful walk.

That means as you’re walking, instead of thinking about the thousands of things that go through your mind, you are paying attention to the trees, the roads, and everything you see.

I found it very hard to be mindful!

Don’t get me wrong…I loved paying attention to everything, but it always made me think of other things. Like I’d be looking at the beautiful turning leaves, and that would lead me to thoughts about how soon it would be too cold to walk outside, and the leaves would be gone from the trees.

So it was definitely not an easy way to be mindful. But it was definitely interesting!
