Day 11 - P90X3 - Dynamix

Since yesterday was an intense workout, we wanted something a little more relaxing, and with a lot less work.

We decided to try P90X3 Dynamix, which is all about stretching and becoming more flexible.

Duration 30 min.

I’m sure this is a great 30 min workout for someone that wants to stretch and become more flexible.

My problem? I hate, hate, hate stretching. I don’t know why. I always have.

Whenever I hear, “Now put your arms up, and go over to one side, and stretch…” I cringe.

This is a lot of stretching.

Some of the stretches were kind of cool. They would definitely help make you more flexible.

But personally, I had a hard time.

This is my problem. My body likes soft things – not the hard ground, so whenever I was doing a stretch, the muscles that were stretching weren’t the ones hurting – the ones on the ground that were being pushed more into the ground were.

So to me, it was a bit painful, and not fun at all.

I’ve loved the cardio routines, the aerobic ones, etc…but the stretching ones? I could live without them.

My husband felt like he did a lot with Dynamix, but it was a little too much since he wasn’t used to it.

He said he would do it again. I personally wouldn’t want to.
