BeachBody on Demand Weekly Review: Week ending 11/20/15

Beachbody on Demand Weekly Review

I was unable to exercise from November 7th – 14th, so that’s why there was no update.

I was able to exercise this past week, but I must say that it turns out when you don’t exercise for a week, it is NOT easy to get right back to it.

I enjoyed it, but I could tell I had taken some time off. So hopefully I won’t be doing that again for a while!

This all started by getting a 30-day FREE trial of Beachbody on Demand.

The trial is long over, but I’m still really enjoying it.

I haven’t gotten sick of it yet, which is very important since that’s why I usually stop exercising.

What we did this week:

  • 11/16 Turbo Fire HIIT 25 – This is one of my favorite of the HIIT routines. I like that it’s supposed to keep my metabolism up for 24 hours, and the moves are pretty easy to follow. I can’t go as fast as they can, but it’s still enjoyable.
  • 11/17 Turbo Fire Abs 10 & Turbo Fire Stretch 10 – These together take 20 minutes, and you get a GREAT ab workout in the Turbo Fire Abs 10. It’s a nice easy “go-to” for off cardio days.
  • 11/18 21 Day Fix – Cardio Fix – We decided to try something new, and did Cardio Fix by Autumn Calabrese. It was good, and we were able to keep up. I’m sure we’ll do this again.
  • 11/19 Turbo Fire Abs 10 & Slim in 6: Slim & Limber – I still love the Abs routine, and want to do it at least twice a week. I tried the Slim in 6: Slim & Limber a few weeks ago, and liked it. It’s 15 minutes long, but goes quickly. It’s great stretching, and is something different than Turbo Fire Stretch 10.
  • 11/20 Challenge du Jour – Insanity – Core Cardio & Balance – This was the first time we’ve tried this, and since it doesn’t seem like the challenge workouts stay around for long, we probably won’t get to do it too many times. It was pretty good though. The moves are easy, but boy are you tired after doing each of them for 1 minute! I liked that I could do all of the moves, and would do it again.

What did I get out of the past week?

  • Don’t take a week off. Even if you’re still getting other exercise in (walking), it won’t be the same when you go back to it. Even if you only have a few minutes, try to do at least some Beachbody most days!
  • I like that there are so many routines to choose from. I’m still exhausted in the mornings, but I get up to exercise.

I’m still really liking BeachBody on Demand, and it keeps getting better.

If you’d like to see my review of the entire 30 day free trial, here’s a post that links to each of the posts during the 30 days, along with a review at the end.

Enjoy,

Jessica
