I love when things just happen.
On Thursday, we got new couches. Once I take a good picture, I’ll post about them.
They have reclining seats, which is awesome. Now I can do work with my laptop while reclined!
So I quickly realized that eventually I was going to need a lap desk. It wasn’t at the top of my to do list though.
I figured eventually I’d start looking. I mean, I hadn’t even had the couches for a week yet! (I still haven’t!)
On Sunday, we went to a store that sells cat food at a discount, so were a little farther from home than usual. So while we were there, we were trying to come up with other places to go in the area.
We decided on Barnes & Noble, because it’s always fun to look at books.
While walking around the store, I stopped at the clearance section. I ALWAYS stop at the clearance section. You never know what you’ll find.
It was 75% off the lowest price. We noticed a bunch of different lap desks. We each found one that we liked.
I have a 15″ laptop, and wanted a small desk that would be comfortable to use. So I got the Executive lap desk.
He has a 17″ laptop, and was looking for something with wrist rests, so he ended up getting the Deluxe lap desk.
The best part? Mine was about $7.50 and his was about $6.25! Talk about perfect timing.
The moral of the story? Always check out the clearance section! You might find just what you were looking for!
I’m using mine now, and it’s really comfortable. Best $7.50 I’ve spent in a while!
