BeachBody on Demand Day 29: Week 4 Review

BeachBody Week 4 Review

I can’t believe it’s been a full 4 weeks that we’ve been doing BeachBody every day.

I have really enjoyed my free trial, and can’t believe it’s almost over.

We have made a decision about whether we’re going to keep doing it or not, but I’ll leave that for another post at the end of the month.

After another week of BeachBody on demand, here are some of my thoughts:

What I loved:

  • I love doing something different every day. I love that I’m not getting bored since each day I can do a completely different workout, and it’s something I haven’t done before, or haven’t done many times.
  • I’m still really liking the Turbo Fire routines. They give you a great workout, but don’t feel like they’re too hard to do. The hardest part is following what she’s doing.
  • P90X3 MMX – This is still my favorite workout. I’ve now done it 4 times, once each week, and I’m not getting bored of it. I really enjoy it, and can see doing this once a week and having it be enjoyable every time.

What I haven’t loved:

  • While I enjoy the Turbo Fire routines, it’s really hard to keep up with her sometimes. She doesn’t always do a great job at explaining what the moves are, and so it takes a little while to figure them out. Of course, there is a video that might explain it all, but since it’s 40 minutes and I like doing things 30 minutes or less, I haven’t watched it.
  • Sometimes it’s hard to tell if you really need the equipment or if it’s just “nice to have.” Some of the ones that say you need weights or resistance bands only use them a little, and even then have someone modifying so that you don’t need them at all. I wish I knew if you needed them or not to do the exercises.

Only a few more days left of the trial! Hopefully I’ll find a few more routines that we like doing.

Enjoy,
