Best Elliptical for Home: Stamina 55-1610 InMotion E1000 Elliptical Trainer

Do you want to exercise at home with an elliptical, but have one (or both) of the following problems?

  • You don’t have the space for an elliptical
  • You don’t have the money for an elliptical

If so, I have the solution for you. It’s called the InMotion Elliptical Trainer. It takes up hardly any room and can easily fit anywhere, and costs under $100 (about $90 when I last checked.)

I purchased it a few weeks ago for both of the above reasons. I didn’t have a lot of space for an elliptical, and I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on it, just in case I didn’t use it all that often.

My only hesitation was that since it was so inexpensive, that it was going to be flimsy, and break easily. Of course, now that I have it, I know that is not the case. It’s a very strong piece of equipment, and doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at all.

What convinced me to purchase it? The reviews. Amazon has 527 review on this product, with 255 being 5 star and 155 being 4 star.

So, how do I feel about purchasing it now that I’ve used it for a few weeks?

I think it’s great. Like I said, it takes up hardly any room, so right now it’s sitting in the living room near the TV. I can easily hop on it for a few minutes at a time, and then continue what I was doing before.

I will warn you though, it takes a lot out of you! I am slowly building up, but at first I couldn’t be on it for more than a few minutes without my legs being exhausted. I definitely feel like it’s making me work out. I also like that it shows you how long you’ve been on it, how many calories you’ve burned, etc.

You can also go backwards on it as well…although to me it is a lot easier to go forward!

If you’re looking for a piece of exercise equipment that only takes up a small footprint, and doesn’t cost a lot, definitely take a look at the reviews and consider the inMotion e1000 Elliptical.
