You’re not going to believe me…I mean, I wouldn’t believe it myself. But this is what happened last week when I called Chewy.com’s customer service.
Someone answered!
Seriously! I called the number on the website. It rang twice…and then a REAL LIVE PERSON answered the phone, and asked how she could help me!
I was in shock. I couldn’t believe it. I didn’t have to go through any automated menus at all. I didn’t have to wait on hold at all. I just got a person right away. I was shocked.
And then on top of that, she was really nice and helpful too!
I have to say, when I hung up the phone I wondered for a split second if we were in an alternate universe.
I mean that kind of thing just doesn’t happen!
Here’s the whole story…
Last Monday evening, we decided to order the awesome Frisco Cat Tree & Condo. It came on Thursday.
I opened it to start putting it together, and unfortunately one piece was broken. I called to see if they could just ship out that one piece (it was a big and heavy box and I really wasn’t looking forward to trying to send that back!) and the woman who I spoke to was really friendly.
She told me that they can’t just ship out one piece, but would have to send a whole new one. When I asked how to ship back the one that had the broken piece, she said that I should donate it, so that’s what I did. She then put in a new order in, and on Saturday morning we had a new, in perfect condition Frisco 48″ Cat Tree & Condo sitting in the house.
A short time later, the kittens were already playing with it and loving it like they’ve always had it.
I just couldn’t believe how helpful Chewy’s customer service was though. They actually answer their phones, and were really helpful.
I can tell you that the next time I’m buying cat food, I’ll be buying it through them.
