Eat Chocolate! (31 Days to a Happier You: Day 14)

Eat Chocolate

I know you don’t really need another reason to eat chocolate.

But…

What if I told you that it could make you happier?

As you’ve probably guessed, we’re talking about dark chocolate here.

People who ate dark chocolate (about a half of an ounce a day) felt happier than those that didn’t. They were less depressed. They were also calmer and less anxious.

That’s just one tiny reason to eat chocolate though. It can also help you lose weight, (from what I hear it’s better to eat it in the morning, although I personally prefer to eat it later in the day) as well as stimulate your brain (it contains caffeine and theobromine.) It can possibly help reduce the risk of such diseases as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and even heart disease. It can help lower your blood pressure, lower bad cholesterol, and even protect your bones (it contains Vitamin D.)

Is there anything that chocolate can’t do?

Enjoy,
