For months and months now, I’ve been thinking about buying the Cat Nose Pendant.
In fact, I even posted about it not too long ago.
I knew it was expensive, but I loved the idea of always having something of my cat. It’s such a cute item, and had so many incredible reviews, I knew that I wanted to get it.
I had been holding off on it, but after reading so many reviews that said that they were glad they did it when they did, I knew it was what I wanted to do…and so I pulled the trigger last night and bought it.
Now I’m waiting for the molding kit to come in the mail so I can make mold of her nose, so that the designer will be able to make the sterling silver pendant.
This is the part I’m a bit nervous about. I know it won’t be easy, as who would want their nose covered up, even for a second?
But I know it’ll be quick…and hopefully easy.
Actually this is part of the reason I decided to buy it last night. The cat has a vet appointment this weekend, and a tiny part of me is hoping that the kit will come on Friday so that I can ask the vet for help! I know that it probably won’t come in time, but it was the kick I needed to get moving on it.
I’m glad I did too, as this morning I saw what looks like a wound on her back paw. I’m sure it’s nothing, but once again it reminded me that I should do it now while I can and she’s healthy, and not wait until it’s too late.
I am really, really excited now that I ordered it! I think it’ll be a great necklace to bring on vacations too.
I will keep you updated when I make the mold, and then when I get the pendant, although I know that will be quite a few weeks away.
In the meantime, let’s just hope the mold comes on Friday so that I can ask the vet for help making the nose print!
