I’m so excited, I just got my new couches delivered! I got the Ollie Chenille Sofa and Loveseat Set from Raymour & Flanigan.
To make a very long story short, we bought new couches a little less than 5 years ago, and pieces of the couch have been coming off for a while now. It was getting to the point that any time one of us stood up, we’d have pieces of couch on us. So we had no choice but to get new couches.
I was really worried when going to pick out new couches, because furniture, just like a lot of other items these days, are hard to come by. I’ve heard that some furniture is back-ordered by months and months…and with the issues our couches are having, we didn’t even want to wait another week!
So when going to Raymour & Flanigan, not only did we want to get comfortable, nice couches at a reasonable price…but we wanted them to be available NOW. So we were a bit worried we were asking for too much.
We were really lucky though! When walking around, we found 2 sets of couches that we really liked, and that were in the price range we wanted to spend.
So we talked to an employee, and asked about both sets. We fond out that one of the sets is back-ordered until at least September, and that everyone has been asking about them. He didn’t even need to look the couches up. He knew them well as he’s been trying to find them. He made it sound like we’d even be lucky if we got them in September.
The Ollie set though? They were available now, and could be delivered in just 5 days. So we were VERY happy to order them.
Here we are, and they just arrived, and I can’t tell you how much nicer they are than the old ones.
I do have one small compliant, but my guess is most people will laugh at it. There are WAY too many pillows on these couches. The sofa came with 5 pillows, and the loveseat 4. Yes…I am now the proud owner of NINE new pillows. When they are all on the couch, there is no place to sit.
Of course I can’t complain about it though. But most of these pillows are going off of the couch. They make it look very comfortable and fancy, and if I wanted to show off my living room I’d leave the pillows on. But for use…well, I don’t need 9 pillows.
They are so comfortable too. I can’t tell you how happy I am…and how relieved that I don’t have to look for pieces of the couch everywhere now!
