If you live near Paramus, NJ, and love chocolate…I have some great news for you.
Hotel Chocolat is coming!
There’s a good chance you’ve never heard of them before. Why? Because they’re located in Europe. The company is British. If you’ve been to London, there is a very good chance you’ve seen them though.
They have really great chocolate. Whenever I’m in London, I make sure I stop by and stock up.
What I really like is that they have a lot of different choices…and that they are reasonably priced!
There are so many chocolate stores that sell awesome chocolate, but the prices are just way more than I want to spend. At Hotel Chocolat, they have awesome chocolate, but you won’t have to spend a lot to get it. Plus you can choose from chocolate bars, individual pieces, and more. They have a lot of different flavors too, so everyone will be happy.
I was at Garden State Plaza last weekend, and saw the sign that they were opening soon. They had a small cart not too far away from their soon to open location, and they told me that they would probably be open the first week of March.
To give you an idea of their prices, they had some really cute heart lollypops (they were pretty big) for $3, and they were selling 3 bars for $15, so they were $5 each.
One thing that’s really interesting to me, is that it’s not JUST a chocolate shop. It says “cafe” in the title as well! So that means we’ll probably get hot chocolate and ice cream too! All I know is that it sounds good to me, and I really can’t wait until they open.
If you don’t live near a Hotel Chocolat, you can get it shipped from the UK. If you’re going to do that, stock up. For worldwide delivery they charge one price for 1 item, and a slightly higher price for anything more than one item. So you’re better off getting a whole bunch of stuff, and then the shipping cost doesn’t add too much to each item.
I for one, can’t wait until March and will be going to the mall soon after that to check it out!
