One of my Favorite Books: The Happiness Project

The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin is one of my favorite books. I’ve read it 3 times so far, and know I’ll read it again.

It’s for people who enjoy life, but wish they were “happier” with it.

Let’s face it.  No matter how good life is, we wonder how we could make it better, and what would make it better.  There’s ALWAYS something that we wish was different, and it’s hard to know how to fix it.

Gretchen understands that, and wants to help make our lives happier.  She does this by spending an entire year trying to make her life happier.

Each month, Gretchen goes through different areas of life, and comes up with ways to make them better. While you may not always want to do the same things she does (and you won’t – let’s face it, everyone is different and has different interests), you’ll still get some great ideas of what you can do to be happier.

Here are some of the monthly topics: Boost Energy, Remember Love, Aim Higher, Lighten Up, Make Time for Friends, Pursue a Passion, Pay Attention, and five more.

Who wouldn’t want to be happier in these areas of life?

I think this is a great book for everyone.  No matter who you are, or how great your life is, you always want to be happier.  You’re always looking for something else to make life better.

This book can help.   You’ll see what types of things Gretchen tries to be happier, and if they help at all.

If you want to be happier with your work, your relationships, your friends, your home, and more, this book will show you how you can go about it.

Enjoy,
